Going into last Tuesday’s meeting between St. Paul/Palmer and Central City/Centura, both teams had a lot on the line.

Mother Nature had left the Centura track and field teams sidelined for two weeks early on in the season, and even when the Centurions got back on the cinders, the weather was far from perfect. Last Tuesday afternoon, on the track at Wood River Rural High School, high winds proved to be a tougher opponent than the competition that was on hand for the Eagles’ annual invite.
